At Udhna Textiles, Surat, we aim to maintain transparency with our customers. Due to recent global developments, there has been a sharp increase in raw material prices, which is impacting fabric manufacturing costs.
The ongoing conflict in Iran has affected global petrochemical supply chains, leading to higher costs for polyester-based products. As a result, polyester yarn prices have increased by approximately ₹30/kg to ₹45/kg in recent weeks. Additionally, metallic lurex jari prices have risen by about ₹50/kg within the last month.
Since these materials are essential for many fabrics manufactured by Udhna Textiles, production costs have increased significantly.
We kindly request all customers to confirm prices before placing new orders, as previously quoted rates should not be considered valid. Due to market volatility, orders will now be accepted on a weekly price basis.
